I was told that microsoft had an update for my problem
but i can't seem to find where to download it. I have an
ati tv wonder VE and there is an issue with it causing
computers with hyperthreading to freeze. please help.
where do i find the update from microsoft?

If they do have a patch it is probably the type that you have to contact
them in order to obtain. In the meantime do you have the latest drivers
installed for it? You can get them here:

You would probably want to check ATI's website for driver updates and
then Microsoft would have any other relevant updates available through
Windows Update. Just don't use drivers from Windows Update.
