I'll make this very brief.

I picked one of these up today to replace my existing TV Wonder Pro.

Pros:

Picture quality seems a little better
Can FINALLY record TV at 720x480 resolution.
Best quality display option that seems to improve display a bit.

Cons:

Channel change keys changed from =- to the arrow keys
Heavy requirements to record with best quality display enabled (XP 1800
doesn't cut it)
Pops and clicks in the sound when changing channels or starting TV
application
The statement to record more mpeg2 contant with the same disk space doesn't
seem correct
Remote requires a USB connection for the receiver
Install offers no Guide+ option, but software is there. BAD for
inexperienced users who may never find it
Very buggy version of MMC 8.2 that crashes quite alot
Audio stutters while recording with hi quality enabled, stuttering remains
when recording stopped.

Overall, not impressed. Recording at 720x480 does not seem to really offer
a noticeable quality
improvement while it obviously increases space requirements. Too many
crashes or odd behaviours
that lead into crashes. I guess I'll need to wait 8 months before ATI
possibly fixes this. Their
track record supporting their TV cards is HORRIBLE.
