Hello,

Just upgraded from a GF4 Ti-4200 and as I posted before, there have been no
problems... apart from this:

The centre of my monitor is not as sharp as the outsides. In fact the word
'blurred' springs to mind. I NEVER noticed this before with the GF4 so is
there a problem I should know about? Possible defective card? Monitor?

IIyama 19" monitor.

Thanks in advance,
Me.

I just came from a GF4 Ti4200 to an ATI 9800pro too and my 2D image quality
has improved so all I can think is that you are either using an incompatible
resolution and/or refresh rate or your card is defective. Could be a bad
cable connection from vid card to monitor also.

Upped the refresh to 100hz and all is okay. Strange.

Monitor?

Could be a convergence problem. Nokia makes a free utility for diagnosing
such problems. You may be able to adjust it out via the built-in
calibration controls.
