Thats when i will buy one

Though the video cards seem to be cheaper i can rember the 9800 pros
being 900 bucks or more when they were released :0

Maybe the next Gen will be 500 on release or less we can only hope.

See ya.

LOL - no i'd reckon $790 on release and $490 3 to 4 months later and by
then another card will be the ducks nuts. By which time shops will stop
carrying
the X800 and you will have to buy something else or the expensive one.

Actually referring to what LooseNut said in a post today I also think that
the fact that "shops will stop carrying the X800" is complete crap.
Right now you can get a Gecube X800 for $699 from certain online retailers
and I've heard rumours that they could be down to $650 within 2 weeks or
when the XT arrives in stock.
The Sapphire is the most expensive right now at over $800 with Powercolour
being around $730. But most online retailers didn't get enough stock with
the first set and so have mostly completely sold out but most are receiving
more by the end of the week.
