Hi,
I found a similar issue after upgrading to Windows 7 x64 from Vista x64.
I believe that the issue does not lie with the version of the OS but in the
prerequisites that the Catalyst needs to successfully function.
I found that there appeared to be an issue with .Net3.5SP1 and the Catalyst
install after the upgrade which, generated a similar MOM.Imlementation error
that stopped the Catalyst Control Center from loading.
To correct this I removed .Net3.5SP1 (Unchecked the package from the Turn
Windows Features On or Off - in windows 7 and Vista) and installed a fresh
copy of the Catalyst Package including the C++Redistributable which, is
included in the Catalyst Package, with ought a problem. Windows 7, I believe
is built on .Net2.0 and the Catalyst package requires these components to be
in good health.
I hope that this is of some assistance to anyone out there experiencing
similar issues.
