I have an NVIDIA chipset based mainboard now. Is that going to
amplify the alleged ATI driver problems?

Does ATI have driver problems?

Or are the alleged driver problems just problematic for
inexperienced users?

Thank you.

I'm asking out of genuine concern. I'm not loyal to any maker
(except Microsoft of course). I'd rather see NVIDIA with some
competition.

Just make sure you completely uninstall your previous video drivers before
installing new ones. BTW, I have Nforce2 motherboard and have used an AIW,
a 9700 pro, and currently, a X850XT PE without any driver problems.
