ATI Control Panel Driver

When I started my computer today I got a message that
said: "The ATI control panel failed to initialize because
no ATI driver is installed, or the driver is not working
properly."

Everything seems to be running and working except that my
screen resolution is messed up. Can anyone tell me what
to do to fix this?

i had a similar problem and downloaded a patch for the
driver off the hp.com website for my particular
model....maybe your computer has a similar patch
