I have an Asus A9550G agp video card and am using the latest drivers from
ASUS.
Should I switch to the ATI CATALYST 8.3 or not. I remember the 8.2 version
had problems with AGP.
I want the latest and best drivers.

Depends if you want probable 3D functionality or not. It may work, it may
not. You'll know as soon as you run dxdiag from the run command and test
direct3d. You'll know a whole lot sooner if you see the "zero display
service error" immediately after driver install. Any reason you need the
8.3's ? I'd image the system first. I've had one experience where a driver
rollback and system restore could not undo the DX wreck it caused. The other
5 times a rollback / restore brought it back no problem.
