Trying to figure out if my card becomes obsolete next Februrary.

As it is now, I have digital cable, but the digital box is in the
Living Room, and in my office, I have just the direct coax cable up to
channel 99 into my PC for viewing and recording with the AIW card.

When the signal goes digital, will the ATI card no longer work?
(thinking its ntsc in)

I don't want to pay rent on a second box. I hate Comcast as it is.

Can I use one of the boxes they sell with the coupon, to run the cable
into it, and on to the ATI card? I know that digital goes above
channel 99 so I can only get those numbers, but that is how it is now,
and I am fine with it. Not a big fan of all those movie channels and
crap.

If I cannot use my ATI AIW, recommendations on what would work with a
direct connection to the cable, sans the digital box?

Any input is appreciated,

John
