I have some 4 year old ATI AIW Rage 128 cards. The computers came with
98 but we upgraded to 2000. Only on some of the computers if you enable
the TV out the monitor goes blank. So your options are you can view the
TV or the monitor not both at the same time. This is a Windows issue as
if you boot the computer you see the bios on both TV and monitor and a
bit of the starting Windows screen but when the windows video driver
kicks in you lose the monitor.
I have the "latest" drivers from ATI dated fall of 2001.
In fact I got one of the computers working just right and took an image
of it and put the image on one of the ones that was not working and yet
it did not fix the problem.
Any ideas on what to do next?
