I have the above card in combination with a soundblaster live value card.
The video and sound work fine, but the audio is out of synch with the video.
I have tried connecting the audio through the microphone input and the
line-in input, both have the same problem.

A related issue ... the volume control on the tv panel doesnt work. I mean
the panel that comes up with the ati player when you play audio, or video
files. The volume control on the remote works, as do the controls from
windows.

Any ideas?

are you talking TV on demand? or one touch recording.....make sure only 1 source is being used...IOW line out only not WAV along
with it.

I'm not sure I understand. I am using the tv on demand.

ok open the mixer either creatives or windows' which ever your using, and either mute WAV/MP3(whichever its called) OR line in and
the sound will return to normal....the one you decide on should be the one that the sound card does NOT use to record the sound. Its
always WAV on mine, leaving line-in UN muted allows me to record audio with the video
