ATI 9700 All In Wonder PRO causes system to Freeze

My system freezes despite having tried four different sets
of ATI drivers. The problem occurs when I have AGP Fast
Write and Hyperthreading enabled. If I disable those
functions the system runs smoothly most of the time.

I have an MSI MS-6565 mother board with the E7205 Granite
Bay chip set.

Is there a fix for this problem? I would like to get the
max performance from my system by enabling AGP Fast Write
and Hyperthreading.
