ATI 9200 .vcr

My ATI 9200 allinwonder makes great recordings of tv programs.
It saves them in .vcr format.
What can I edit or change the format with?

Change it to record in a more standard format like mpg.
That way you can burn them onto inexpensive CDRs and watch them on most of
the newer DVD players. Most new cheap DVD players will read the mpg file
automatically.

You lose the ability to record closed caption that way.

you can change from .vcr to mpg in MMC library

Yes I finally found the way to do it thanks to the several post I got.
