ATI 64-bit driver on eMachines M6805

The original Beta 1 of ATI's 64-bit drivers for Win XP64 would install and
run on my M6805 with the Mobility 9600 chip. Subsequent betas of the 64-bit
driver will not install and say they don't recognize the video chip. Google
seems to indcate that there is some way to edit the .inf file(s) to get the
newer drivers to install on the Mobility 9600. However, there doesn't seem
to be a how-to on modifying the .inf file. The most straightforward
approach would seem to be doing a diff on the Beta 1 .inf files vs. the
newer Beta .inf files but I don't seem to have a copy of the original Beta
1 driver anywhere and ATI's site just has the Beta 4 and Beta 3 versions.
Does anyone have a copy of the Beta 1 .inf file with the pertinent Mobility
9600 section that they can post? Alternatively, does anyone have a link or
instructions on how to edit the .inf file and get the Beta 4 driver to
support my video chip?
