Hi all,
Does anyone here has any idea what happen to my computer?
My computer is a AMD Athlon XP 2600+ running on an ASUS motherboard
A7V8X-X and Kingston RAM PC2700 (333 MHz).
I've left my computer on one day and... when I came back home my
computer was crushed (OS was frozen).
From then, my computer cannot boot up to OS successfully anymore unless
I lower the CPU clock speed to 1.3 GHz (it is supposed to be running at
2.083 Ghz). Strange!
It seems like running fine at 1.3 GHz though.
Do you think it's a motherboard problem or CPU problem? I really don't
think is a system memory problem.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
P.S. I've already got and tried the latest MB BIOS, doesn't help.
