be enough for 2 HDD and a Athlon x2 3800+ ?

(no more add-on cards, onboard video/sound/lan)

You're better off asking this question elsewhere! This newsgroup is for
questions on hardware used in XP. Power supply questions do not involve XP
directly.

I would recommend getting the biggest supply you can (over 400 watts)
When I researched this I found a 450 watt or larger would be best depending
on what hardware you have eg video card, sound card hdd, dvd/cd burner etc.

Ask in a hardware group.
