Can anyone help with a problem with Athlon processer
2200xp fitted to msi kt4vl motherboard?when booted the
system only recognises it as a 1500 processer.the manual
says that the bios default is 100mhz and to change it if
your processor runs at different speed what do i set the
bios at. thankyou

Hello Rob

In your system Bios change the FSB bus from 100mhZ to 133mhz ok
and you should be fine, also make sure that your brd will support that
processor

Good question and I'm glad you got some good answers. This doesn't have
much to do with Microsoft or Windows, though.

For my EPoX motherboard questions, I get a lot of peer-to-peer support on
the Usenet newsgroup alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.epox. Have you tried a
newsgroup like alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.msi-microstar?
