I have suddenly developed a problem with my Samsung CDRW /DVD 352N
Combo
Drive.

The problem initially started by my drive not being able to read
Mixed
Content Data DVD's. (I could play CD's etc).
Now I can't even access my drive and when I try to reinstall the drive
after
uninstalling it from the system manager on reboot the machine Instead
of
identitfying it as a Samsung CDR / DVD 352 N the computer is
identifying a

SAMQULG CDRU/ DVD QM 352L

In the event viewer I get constant ATAPI errors , Event ID 9 under
system
( This error message is the most regular one I get in my event
viewer)
however earlier the initial symptoms and warnings and error messages
that I
see in my event viewer for this particular problem are listed below)

Can someone help me solving this problem. would be appreciated.
