Every time I try and burn a data DVD using my DVD-RAM, I get this
messgae. It seems to only recognize DVD-RAM disks, but according to
B’s Recorder, it says DVD-RW are supported.
When I insert a DVD-RAM disk, everything’s ok. I can access it without
any problems whatsoever. But When I try and use a DVD-RW disk, and try
to access the DVD-RAM, I get a ’no disk inserted’ message.
I can make data DVDs fine if I have a DVD-RAM disk inserted, double
click the drive under my computer, it opens, and I can drag and drop
things there without error.
Now, I use B’s Recorder to write to a DVD-RW, it starts, then I get
this message:
An ATAPI error occurred.
An unexpected ATAPI error occurred.
< Error No : 53072700 >
Please check the ATAPI connection:
1. Check the ATAPI cable, master/slave order
2. Insert another disc
3. Restart the computer/drive.
The DVD-Ram drive I’m using is a HL-DT-STDVDRAM GMA-4020BA107, driver
version 5.09.
Any solutions, or do I just have a low-end DVD drive? Any help is
greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
