Hi all!

If you want to add more memory to your ASUS W2Vc it will take hours to find
information about how to do it. ASUS.com does not willingly give off this
info except when it comes to the 'sub'-portion of the memory compartment.

If you want to add memory to the compartment placed under the keyboard ASUS
has the opinion that this is very complicated and for skilled technicians
only.

But here is what to do:

1. Shut down the notebook completely if not
2. Turn it upside down and unmount the power cell.
3. With a small screwdriver unscrew the 5 (five) small screws turning the
screwdriver counterclockwise.
4. Turn the notebook another 180 degrees and open the the screen lid as much
as possible WITHOUT USING FORCE.
5. Gently unmount the airpanel between the keyboard and the screen by
lifting at the edge nearest to the keyboard.
6. Carefully lift the keyboard from its place. The small clicks are not
harmful to the notebook.
7. You should now be able to locate the memory compartment.

8. After exchange of memory remount the keyboard by gently pressing it into
place.
9. Remount the air panel by putting it into place FIRST the back (nearest to
the screen) and THEN the front (nearest to the keyboard).
10. Close the lid and turn the notebook 180 degrees.
11. Remount the 5 small screew by turning the screwdriver clockwise.
12. Remount the power cell.

That's all.

REMEMBER: If you do any harm to it warranty is void.
