I have a 1.33GHz Athlon with a MSI Kt7Pro Turbo motherboard. After installing the Gforce4 graphics card my system restarts itself whenever I try to play a graphiclly intensive game like Op Flashpoint, Ghost recon or Combat Flight Sim 3. I have tried updating the drivers from the manufacturers web site even using the drivers from Microsoft. Using lower resolution and detail settings. The event logs tell me that the Graphics card tried to write to an area in memory that was inside the protected area. Could this be a problem with a conflict between the video card and the motherboard bios or chipset?

Graham, you may have to try a series of different Nvidia drivers to find
one that will work correctly on your system. Go to
www.guru3d.com and try a few. Also, go to www.amdmb.com and post the
same question in the forums. Look under
Motherboards/MSI.
