Hi,
I need some advice. I purchased originally Corsair twin XMS 3200 2x256 ram
With Platinum silver heat spreader. I recently purchased another pair
however this pair has a black heat spreader and although the speed (3200
400mhz) is the same for both pairs the CAS Latency is different. The silver
Platinum is 2-3-3-6 and the Black is 3-3-3-8. The problem is that when used
together the bios says I am running at 266mhz instead of 400 which is what
it said before I added the second pair. The system runs fine but I am
wondering what if any impact or Significance the 266mhz is? Any way to force
the 400? They both should run at 400mhz. Thanks
