CPU: P4 2.6C
OS: XP pro
RAM: 2 X 256M DDR400
HD: 2 X 40G; one 7200 and one 5400
The XP is on a partition on the 7200 drive (master).
The pagefile is on another partition on the 5400 drive.
The hard drives are not setup as Raid 0 or Raid 1.
How would you connect these two drives to optimize
speed, if you needed all of the 80G capacity?
Is there a benefit if I install the second (slave) drive on the
RAID connector so that it has its own cable, instead of
sharing the same cable with the master drive?
Would there be a disadvantage?
