Hello

I purchased an Asus P4C800-E Deluxe mainboard off ebay. The board works
fine however the back i/o panel on my case does not match the
mainboard's i/o ports. No i/o panel came with the mainboard. Where can
i find the correct i/o panel - i'm willing to pay for it. I live in
Brisbane, Australia.

The panel MUST be included in the box. go back to the shop you buy it and
ask for it.

Or ask asus to send you one.#

The back i/o panel is included in the mainboard box.
Look closer in the box.

There is no i/o panel in the box. Trust me i looked. I think its
probably because i bought it off ebay. Anyway i really need to get this
part and can't find an australian support number for asus. i'm willing
to pay for the part + shipping but just don't know how to go about it.

I'm not sure if this is of any help, but you could try one of the numbers on
this page: http://au.asus.com/contact/contactindex.htm

Original poster Josh shouldn't hold his breath on this one. When I
discovered the wrong I/O panel with my P4C800-E d/l, I chose to bypass
my retailer and contact Asus support, Netherlands, directly: My mail
was immediately relayed to asus.com.tw, triggering an automatic
response - which contained only an assigned CaseID and a request to
evaluate their service:
"How would you rate the quality of this mail?
Poor 123456789 Outstanding"

That was 20 Oct...still waiting. To be fair, though, I haven't carpet
bombed them with nagging mails <g>...and it's a fine board.

Tom

Have you tried to get in touch with the seller again? He probably left it
in some case without even knowing it. It will operate without any
problems without the backpanel tho.

Have a look at the list of partial or full kits offered here.
You can likely find a P4C800-E bracket in this lot (223 items):

Maybe there is someone closer to you, who offers the same service.

Paul
