I upgraded from Win ME to Win xp Pro and in the hardware
list an item named SM Bus (systen management bus) for the
Asus A7n8x MB has a yellow exclamation mark. The only
info I could find for this is the intel chipset needs a
INF file? Anyone know what I should do to correct this?

Go to support.intel.com to dwonload the latest chipset
drivers for your chipset and utilities.
Strictly follow the instructions for how to update the
chipset drivers.

Remove the first letter m for email.

go to asus.com and get the latest mb system files ....

You have an Intel SM Bus on an A7N8X, I didn't know that nVidia had teamed
up with Intel??

You may want to look at the nVidia drivers for an answer to this one. The
MB drivers that are made for the A7N8X should have the proper driver or
there is a registry problem left over from your ME installation.
