I'm planning an upgrade soon but was stressing about a suitable mainboard as
a platform for an ATI X1900XTX...... no more! This beauty is coming from
Asus:

The existing A8R-MVP has been around for three months. The use of 2x8 PCIe
for the video cards carries no performance penalty, and the board is very
stable. Prices are much lower than what the A8R32 will sell for. Anand seems
to like it:

I have been waiting to upgrade to a Crossfire solution from ATI aswell and
have had my eye on a new RD580 chipset based mobo.
One thing though is that the DFI RDX board based on the RD480 chipset can
enable memory timings of T1 with 4 banks loaded .
Something no other board has ever done?
So an Asus or DFI board based on the RD580 chipset that can also do 4 banks
at T1 is the board for me....
