What is the deal with the supply issues on this board? I have had one on
back order for a month from a large supplier and still cant get a firm date.
Anyone know what's up?

It seems the production supply cannot match with the market demanding.

Which just goes to show that producing a premium product and advertising
it widely still works OK. 8>.

But I guess there does have to be a problem with one or more of the
components, since else wise they could have ramped up by now. Not like
it needs any different production line from their other boards, and the
a8N SLI premium is out there in droves.

In the UK not even large system integrators can get them, never mind Joe
Public retail.

I'm waiting for that very board myself (here in Canada). That little
comment about problems with components makes me just a tad nervous,
cause some years back Asus had a bit of a reputation for rushing
flawed boards to market. Of course, that's not going to happen this
time around (is it, Asus?)... Ken

I actually meant a supply problem, but I guess other interpretations are
possible. My only issues with Asus are BIOS updates (too many, too
untested) and selecting the cr&ppiest chipset fans in the known universe
(not an issue with the A8N32, which is maybe why people want it!)
