Asus A7V Motherboard + W2K Pro question

Hello! I have an Asus A7V motherboard with an onboard
ATA100 promise controller (2 slots), as well as an onboard
IDE controller (2 slots also). I have two hard drives and
two DVD drives connected to the primary and secondary IDE
channels with no problems. I have added a third hard
drive to the system and have attached it via the
appropriate (80 pin I believe?) cable to the ATA100
controller. This drive is detected during boot, but W2K
does not see this drive. My question is two fold: Is
this simultaneous usage of the IDE channels and the ATA
controller possible in the first place, and if so, how do
I get W2K to see the third hard drive on the ATA
controller? Thanks for your help!

Jon

You'll need to add the manufacturer's controller driver through Device
Manger
Control Panel|Add New Hardware
