You should try to play the game with the case open and see what
happen.
Also i suspect that it's a directx problem
I'm running a 9800pro from ati and i never had any problem on game
crashing, only with GTA san Andreas. and it happen one time, symptom
is computer freezing.
set your asus card at default detail and see.
