Greetings. I am using Windows 2000 Server with SP4 and my users
connect to this server via Citrix Metaframe for their applications;
they use a desktop application, so basically they log into this server
directly every day. Well, one of the programs on there is called Resume
Maker. It is suppose to associate its files (.RMR) with the program,
but I cannot get that to happen. When someone clicks on a .RMR file to
open it in Resume Maker, the window for selecting which program to uses
appears. I select Resume Maker, but note that I cannot check the box
for "Always use this program for this file type"; it's grayed out. The
file pulls up just fine, but this is how I have to do it for now, even
though I do not wish to keep doing it this way. So, I go to My Computer
> Tools > Folder Options > File Types and I look to change the
association of .RMR files. When I scroll through the list, it's not
even there, nor can I add it because all the buttons (New, Delete,
Change, Advance) are grayed out. I have done this at the server,
directly, so I am convinced that it has nothing to do with the Terminal
Services. I have restarted the server, just in case that would help
anything, but it didn't. Simply put, I just want to be able to
associate .RMR files with Resume Maker in Windows 2000 Server. Thank
