Stefan,
I installed every component ... I selected "run from my computer" or
something like that. I've learned to do that with MS software, because it
is sometimes a hassle to try and install later ... at least that's what I've
noticed.
Also ... the assistant will always show if I reboot, it's just that
sometimes (only when Frontpage is running), I get assistant errors ...
telling me that it's not installed ... yet I can see it on the screen.
Doesn't make sense to me. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled ... didn't
help.
Thanks for you help though ... it was a good suggestion.

| Ever since I installed Frontpage 2003, I've had problems with regards to
the
| assistant. I don't always have it viewing, but when I need help, it's
what
| I use. At first I would get errors that said the assistant wasn't
installed
| ... even though I could see it. However, it caused the office to crash.
| Again, when I rebooted, it would eventually give me "assistant" errors.
| Now, the crashing has stopped, but it reverts back to clippy which I
"never"
| choose. I always use the cat ... but on reboots, it reverts back to
clippy
| without any error messages or failed programs.
|
| Is this a known glitch or hiccup with 2003. My other office programs are
XP
| ... I only upgraded to Frontpage 2003 for now.
|
| Any thoughts ... anyone else have this experience.
|
| I'd appreciate your comments. Thanks.
