In Win 98 you could go into the Registry (H_C_U - AppEvents - Schemes - Apps
and create a new item, say "Winword", and it would show up in Sounds in the
Control Panel.
You could then assign a sound to the opening and closing of that app so that
when you
opened and closed the app, you would here the sound.

I can not find this ability to do the above in Win XP Pro. Does anyone know
if this is
possible in XP.
