Assigning a Recurring Task

I have a shared department task list in Outlook 2007 on an exchange server.

I create a recurring task and assign it to a team member. When the owner
completes the task, it doesn not update on the shared list where it was
created.

I would like to have a master list of tasks with the ability to assign each
one to a team member. I would like them to be recurring and have them
automatically update on the master list.

Thanks!!

Only tasks in your mailbox's task folder will update, not tasks kept in a
shared folder.

Thank you for such a quick response Diane.

So even though it will update a non-recurring task in the shared folder, it
will not do the same for a recurring task?

I was hoping for a work around, oh well.

Correct recurring tasks don't update.
