I printed out MS knowledge Base Article - 195111 and went
thru the steps. However, all appts remain in black in
every view. We are starting a small business and the
various appt colors are going to be critical to our
business. Thanks you

The color-coding ability available for Outlook calendar folders depends on your version of Outlook, with Outlook 2002 and later doing the best job. In Outlook 2000, you get color-coding only with automatic formatting in table views. See http://www.slipstick.com/calendar/colorcal.htm .
