Assigned Apps uninstall then reinstall after a gpupdate /Force

We have multiple applications that are assigned via GP. Randomly these
applications will uninstall on a reboot of the computer then require a
gpupdate /Force and a reboot to re-install.

This does not happen to all users that have these applications
installed and it appears that it only happens when a user installs a
non-GP controlled application then reboots.

I can not confirm that this is the only trigger simply because we have
a couple of users who absolutely deny installing anything before this
behavior is observed.

We do not believe that it is a configuration issue since this is not
seen by everyone that has these apps assigned.

Any assitance would be appreciated.

TIA,

Jeff
