ASROCK K7S8X Bios problems

Trying to flash the bios from 1.4 to 2.6. I d/l the flash utility and
BIOS update from ASROCK. I followed directions, and the process begins.
it gets to the point where it is verifying ROM Data, and returns "Error
22- Flash ROM cannot be correctly programmed"
I've searched ASROCK, and google, but can find no translation of error
codes, or what to do about this.

Any help??
