Well, start off, I know an issue with the third-party device driver issue. I
followed an article 887494 and made a change to Asr.sif, created winnt.sif,
but still the result is the same. I use a tape drive that the driver is not
contained in XP cd, and Adaptec 29160N. I have made a ASR backup tape and
floppy, and copied driver for the tape drive in the floppy and edited the sif
files. Only the driver for the tape drive is not certified. I don't know if
I'm doing something wrong or else, but I'd appreciated if anyone could tell
me successful story about ASR resotr with any tape drives that requre the own
driver.
