Hello all,

Riddle me this ,,, During a ASR recovery .. Is XP stuck on same vender size
drives ??? I did this before but to same vendor same size and it worked ..
now I have a WD1600JS and Seagate ST3160023AS .. both are 160 Gbs but XP in
ASR tells me that the restore disk is too small ... but actualy the Seagate
is larger by a few megs .. so is XP looking for twin disks ???? if so that
sucks you can never ASR on a larger disk because it's not a twin ...

Has anyone seen this ??? and is there a fix accept buying a twin disk ???
Besides that why a Seagate 160 and a wd 160 and a Toshiba ... etc are the
same ...for being compatable .. or is just bullshit???

thanks in advance

Dale G
