How can I manage an ASR Backup without a floppy disk.

XP will allow me to run a backup but without a floppy disk drive I cannot
work out how I can save the necessary files that should go on the floppy. I
have a CD - can I just burn those files onto the CD as the machine will
surely never try to restore from a non-existent floppy.

As far as I know, this is a limitation of this tool. The MS Knowledge Base
has directions for recreating a floppy disk if necessary but no info on how
to bypass that requirement.

Also, ASR is only an XP Pro tool. There are workarounds on the internet
that are supposed to get this working with Home but I have never read any
solid confirmation that they work reliably.
