i have a problem when i tried to copy an asp.net application from cd to my system.it is a project mainly based on database .i kindly request you to tell me the way or steps to run theasp.net application that has been developed in another machinein my machine .........

What sort of error have you ?
Usually, you just need to copy all binary files (DLL) and .ASPX .ASAX .ASCX
..CONFIG files.
If needed, change Web.Config for database path.
Try to clear the read-only flag on files.
