I need VPS for asp.net app which use SQL Server 2005 Express DB.
After some time, this DB may overage 4GB so in this case i would need
workgroup edition.
What do you think, is this good idea to rent VPS and install MSSQL Express
or Workgroup edition?

Which provider you recomend. I see www.VPSLand.com is very cheap. Do you ave
some experience with them?

I see nothing wrong with renting a Virtual Private Server, if you need this
amount of control over the server. You then have the ability to install what
you need. It may not be necessary, however, as many providers provide rather
large SQL databases with some packages. You will have to determine where
your business is and where you think it will be.
