Hello again

I am having to purchase ink cartridges for my Epson printer.
I was checking out the Ink Club website and found that if you purchase cartridges from then you can get Advanced System Optimizer for free. Has anyone any experience with ASO?
Thanks tdc

I've not used it myself, but I'm very sceptical of any "optimisation" software. Most of the time, software like this just bundles together degragmentation apps and simple ways to clean things like temporary files.

Most of the functions it will perform will be harmless and may be good housekeeping tasks, but they are just things that you can do manually anyway. What I would strongly avoid is any option that changes or "cleans" registry settings - it's not unheard of for this to cause more problems than it solves.

That's just my opinion and perhaps someone has tried this specific software out and finds that it has some handy features.
