I downloaded a video file that was in an .asf file
format. When I tried to import the file into movie maker
I received a message that this was an unrecognized
format. How do I get movie maker to use this file?

If you don't already have it, search Google for TMPGenc
and download the free software. It permits conversion
into either 'AVI or 'MPG from 'ASF, either of which MM2
is able to 'read'.

Once MM2 has imported the file, you can then either edit
or simply view it, as you wish.
