Using Word '07, I need to save docs into ASCII (not just Plain Text) but see
no option to do so in the Save As Type dropdown or anywhere else. If anyone
can give me a step-by-step I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

Hi Saidas,

It's not clear what the differences you're looking for are in the text save, but when you choose plain text and then click 'Save'
you should then get another dialog that lets you choose parameters for that save, including US-ASCII if you choose the 'Other
encoding' options.
