AS1 twain drive xp compatable

Hi all.

I have a fujifilm Image scanner AS1 that will not work on
my XP machine i do not want to have to take my new
machine back to the place of purchase. Do microsoft not
suport the scanner abd if not do you know of a ny patch
for it.
