i recently started using win2k after many years of using
win95 and win98, i'm pretty happy with the change apart
from one small annoying problem, when i arrange my files
by date in list/large icon/small icon form i like them to
be shown new>old and for some silly reason win2k likes to
show them old>new
i've checked folder options and various other options to
see if i can change this, but i've not found anything to
let me change it, i know that if i go to details view and
arrange the icons new>old and switch back to list the
icons stay that way, but then the folders end up being
shown after the files and it changes back again as soon as
you arrange by date again.
any help people could give in assisting me to getting
things back to the way i liked them would be most
appreciated.
