Anyone know why we use the ArmV4 cabs for the Intel PX270 processors?? I
would think that should be X86, but it flat will not accept that .CAB.

Why would you think x86? The PXA270 is an ARM core, just like its
predecessor the PXA255 and its predecessor the SA1110 and its predecessor
the SA1100 and its predecessor......

While it's not quite time for the annual vision checkup, that was not
apparent on Intel's documentation of the PXA270.

You're right. You'd think they'd make the core architecture more obvious in
the materials.

But that would detract from the "XScale branding" that makes people think
it's something unique to Intel! ;-) They try very hard to distance
themselves from any association with ARM so that people think XScale is a
CPU type in and of itself. In the end this just caused confusion and
annoyance.

Now that aint no joke! "XScale" sure doesn't seem far from "X86".
