I'm trying to uninstall an Argus DC3150 camera which was
installed on W98 before upgrade to XP. It appears to
interfere with the Minolta G500 camera which I want to
use; the G500 is not recognized as a mass storage device.
Note that the USB does not recognize my LexarMedia 128meg
pendrive, either. The Argus came with installation which
added "My Digital Camera" to the My Computer folder;
there is no upgrade or info available for that, and it
has no provision for adding the G500 as a camera choice.
I think that sware was from 1998 and has gone out of
business. It appeared to add itself as a component of
Win98, but will not uninstall. How can I get the G500
working?

Have you assigned the new devices drive letters?

Right click on My Computer and select Manage. On the following screen,
click on Disk Management. They should show up on the right hand side of the
screen.
