Can I add my HDD from a failed system as a slave in another system just to get
some data?

I haven't been on my server for a few days, and I'm not dependent on it for any
of my daily processes so I don't know what happened.

Anyway, it will not POST.

Yes, you can move that HD to another system to copy files/folders. You
won't be able to use it as a bootable drive on another mainboard,
though, without some fancy footwork.
