Just a quick post about the resolution of this problem.

BSOD on bootup of OS just after the login screen pops up and a few
seconds after the tape drive starts init'ing. adpu160m.sys BSOD.

Tried Adaptec drivers dated 7/15/03 (BSOD)

Tried Adaptec drivers dated 5/14/02 (tapes would not fully mount, just
sat there in updating state.

Tried Adaptec drivers dated ?/?/01 Worked just fine!

I did spend a couple days on this with thier (arcserve's) sucky a**
tech support from India and got nowhere. Also with our corporate tech
support on the sister-sister relationship bug and the funky context
issue on the NW6 box.

BTW The nic in the ML370 is a Adaptec 39160 - Ultra160 Adapter.

Hope no one else has to go through this crap.

TC
